pH Minus pH Minus is used to reduce the pH or Total Alkalinity in your Swimming Pool or Spa.
Use a Test Kit to determine both the pH and Total Alkalinity of your Pool.
Your Pool or Spa needs to be maintained at a pH of between 7.2-7.6 and a Total Alkalinity of between 80-140ppm(parts per million).
Operating within these parameters will prevent damage to your pool equipment and ensure that the sanitiser in your pool is effective.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
To Reduce pH
If the reading is above 7.6 add this product at a rate of 200gms per 25 cubic meters (14oz per 10,000 gallons) Pool water.
For Spas add at a rate of 10 gms per 1000ltr. (Half an ounce per 300 gallons)

Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic bucket of pool water and distribute evenly over the Pool water surface (dilute the product at a rate of 100gm per 5ltr bucket)
Re-test your water after 1 hour and repeat dose if required.
To Reduce Alkalinity
If the Total Alkalinity of your Pool is above 140ppm reduce Total Alkalinity 10ppm by adding as follows:
Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic bucket of Pool water. (Dilute the product at a rate of 500gm per 5ltr bucket)
Turn off the Pool circulation pump.
Add 1 kilo of pH minus per 50 cubic meters (2 pounds per 10,000gal) in one spot at the deep end of your pool.
